The AntiSlaveryExaminer was an irregular anti-slavery serial published in the 1830s and 1840s by the American Anti-Slavery Society.  AtlanticMonthly, scattered issues available to view between 1857-1922.  FreedomsJournal, African-American Newspaper published weekly in New York City from 1827-1829.  HarpersMagazine(1850-) ScientificAmerican, (1845-) and SouthernQuarterlyReview, 1842-1857.  BlackwoodsEdinburghMagazine (1817-1980)
